FULL FORM OF EWS

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR EWS CERTIFICATE


1. You should be a General Candidate.

This 10% of EWS quota has been reserved only for the people of the unreserved category (UR / General category). Only the General Candidates can apply for it and take advantage of it.

2. Family Income should be less than 8 lakhs.

People of all general categories whose income is less than 8 lakhs of the entire family. All those people will be eligible for EWS Reservation. Under this, Family Income means - all the sources of income in the family such as trades, farming, business, salaries, etc.

3. Family's Agricultural Land Area should be less than 5 Acres.

To get the Reservation Benefit of Economically Weaker Sections, your family should have less than 5 acres of agricultural land. If the Size of Agricultural Land under your family property is more than 5 Acres, then you will not be eligible for this.

4. Family's Residential Flat Area should be less than 1000 sq.ft.

To be classified under EWS quota, your family's Residential Flat area should not be 1000 sq.ft or more.

5. Family's Residential Plot Area should be less than 100 sq.yards.

In order to avail this 10% Reservation, Residential Plot area 100 sq.yards. In the area of ​​notified municipalities in the property of your family. yards should not exceed 900 sq.ft.

6. Family's Residential Plot Area should be less than 200 sq.yards.

If the area of ​​Residential Plot (Other than in Notified Municipalities) under your family's property is less than 200 sq.yards i.e. 1800 sq.ft then you will be able to get this reservation.

HOW TO APPLY FOR EWS CERTIFICATE?

Let me tell you that no online method has been created to apply the EWS certificate. To create this certificate you will have to adopt the offline method which can be built in two ways -
  1. Go to your nearest tehsil and make it: If you want, you can go to your nearest Tahsil and make it from Tahsildar or SDO. However, it may take a lot of time.
  2. Create an agent: You can go to your local public service center and also make these certificates through an agent. In this, your work will be faster. Because they have a very good link from their Tehsil.
To apply for EWS Certificate Offline, you must first find out whether this 10% EWS reservation is applicable in your state. There are so many states where this General Reservation has not yet been implemented. The reservation has been introduced in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Assam, and Chhattisgarh.

  1. District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Collector / Deputy Commissioner / Additional 'Deputy Commissioner / 1st Class Stipendary Magistrate / Sub-Divisional Magistrate / Taluka Magistrate / Executive Magistrate / Additional Assistant Commissioner

BENEFITS OF EWS RESERVATIONS

As you know, the Government has already reserved 49.5% seats for the upliftment of the lower class or economically weaker (SC / ST / OBC) people in India. Now, with the new 10% Reservation, those General Category people who come in all those Economically Weaker Sections will benefit in Education and Jobs.
